PASADENA, Calif. ? Will Burks sat on a bench outside a Pasadena, Calif., church near a long line of buses that would soon take the All-Lubbock Marching Band back across Southern California to their hotel. He was monitoring a Los Angeles TV station Web poll on his iPad where people voted for their favorite band in the 123rd Rose Parade.
